Services

One licensed team for the panels, the battery and the wiring behind them

Solar and batteries are what we do most. The switchboard, the EV charger and the everyday electrical work are done by the same licensed people.

Solar and batteries

Signs it is time to look at solar and a battery

If two or more of these sound like your place, a look at your power bill will tell you whether it is worth it.

  • Your bills keep climbing even though the way you use power has not changed.

  • Most of your power goes in the evening, after the sun is gone and solar on its own has stopped.

  • Your panels export at midday while you buy the same power back at night at a higher rate.

  • A blackout means no fridge, no lights and no bore or pool pump until the grid comes back.

  • Something big is coming: an EV, a pool, ducted air conditioning or a growing household.

  • You are not sure your current system is still earning and nobody has looked at it in years.

How it works

Five steps, and you know who is doing each one

No call centre, no lead broker, and nobody subcontracted. Everyone on your job works for SolArk, and the people who assess, design and install it are deliberately different people.

  1. Send your bill

Your last power bill and a photo of your meter box tell us what you use and when you use it.

  2. Designed off your usage

The system is sized from your real usage and accurate satellite imagery of your roof. If a smaller system suits you, we will say so.

  3. Installed by our own team

Licensed electricians employed by SolArk, never subcontracted. Measurements are checked on site before anything goes up.

  4. Switched on and explained

Commissioned, tested and shown to you, with the rebate paperwork handled.

  5. Warranty and aftercare

A 25 year workmanship warranty on our solar and battery installation work, from commissioning, and the same number to ring afterwards. Warranty Terms apply.

Quoted as written. You can read every one on our Google Business Profile, the only place a review can be checked independently.

Great clear presentation promoting hands on service and expertise. Outlined all the benefits of the product and walked us through the process. It wasn't the cheapest quote but I felt confident that SolArk would be the best option. Installation and delivery matched the presentation.

Jack, Josh, Coen and Max were absolutely fantastic. From the quoting to the installation everything went really smoothly. Ours was quite a complex job and the team just took control and made it feel like a breeze.

Jack and his team installed a solar system into my property in Kewdale a few weeks ago. The savings in power is more than 50%. Jack and his team are professional and left the place cleaner than they found it. Highly recommended.

FAQs

The questions people actually ask

Are you the cheapest?

No. Cheap solar is cheap in the places you cannot see: the isolators, the cable, the roof penetrations. That is where it comes back to bite. What we do compete on is sizing the system correctly and standing behind the work afterwards.

Why don't you publish prices?

Because a price that is not based on your roof, your bills and your switchboard is not a price, it is a guess. Send us your last power bill and we will give you a real number.

Do you use subcontractors?

No. Our installers are in-house, always. The people on your roof are SolArk employees.

How do I know the system is the right size?

We size it off your actual bills and usage rather than the space available on your roof. If a smaller system suits you better we will say so, and we have talked customers out of batteries that did not suit them.

Can you beat a quote I already have?

Send it through and we will go through it with you line by line. Two quotes are almost never the same system, and the difference is usually in the parts nobody itemises. You can send your quote through here. Getting more than one quote is a good idea on a job this size.

Do you check the safety switches while you are here?

Yes, as a matter of course. Every visit includes an RCD test to confirm your safety switches actually trip, and a check that your smoke alarms are in date and working. Both fail silently, and both take minutes.

What is covered if something goes wrong?

Our solar and battery installation work carries a 25 year workmanship warranty, starting when your system is commissioned. It covers how we designed, mounted, wired, terminated, earthed and commissioned your system. The panels, inverter and battery carry their manufacturers' warranties. Our general electrical, switchboard, EV charger and air conditioning work is not part of the 25 year warranty, but your rights under the Australian Consumer Law still apply to it. The full terms, including the conditions and what is not covered, are in our Warranty Terms.
